Lightbulb Moment: Take Advantage of the Great Energy This Week

Happy New Moon in Gemini!

Suddenly it feels like life is coming at you fast right? Welcome to Gemini season!

The Sun and Mercury are now both in Gemini, as well as the moon. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, the planet of communication and travel. With this much Gemini energy in the air, we’re looking for ways to connect and collaborate. This is the perfect time for networking and socialising.

Host an event, explore a new destination, join a club, learn a new skill—the possibilities are endless.

I already wrote about the New Moon in Gemini last week because I wanted to give you a heads up about how great this energy is to work with, especially if you were planning on launching or starting something.

Don’t worry, you’re not late—you can still make use of the New Moon energy. It will be intense over the next few days at least. Those of you who read the last article and had time to prepare and channel it into something—I’m excited to see how this develops for you by November/December. Take note so you can look back and track your progress!

But wait! There’s more great energy to add.

We have another major transit blessing us this week: Cazimi!

This will feel more like a cerebral blessing given how much energy we currently have in Gemini and I’m so excited for the lightbulb moment.

Sun Mercury Cazimi: A Moment of Clarity

Friday brings a powerful moment of insight as the Sun and Mercury meet in the sky—a phenomenon known as cazimi. In astrology, cazimi refers to the close proximity of a planet to the Sun, which then amplifies and purifies the planet’s energy. The word cazimi is derived from the Arabic word kaṣmīmī which means ‘as if in the heart’—as if the planet is so close to the Sun, it’s in it’s heart.

Since this is a Mercury cazimi, expect sudden news, downloads of wisdom, or a major breakthrough—a lightbulb moment. Even better news: the cazimi is happening in the sign of Mercury’s domicile! Look to your Gemini house in your birth chart for clues as to where the message will click for you. By the weekend, you may find your mindset shifting in a new direction—the dots begin to connect, and you’ll step into a new way of thinking.

I highly, highly, highly recommend journaling, writing, publishing, starting a new hobby, project or business idea, connecting with friends, attending a networking event or reunion.
