This article provides a month-by-month breakdown of the major transits for 2025. If you haven’t read part 1 of this article, please consider doing so first to grasp the necessary context! A quick note: there’s a lot of information and predictions included here—not all of it is positive or optimistic, as I strive to present a balanced perspective. If you’re someone who feels easily overwhelmed, proceed with caution. Also, let me clarify—I’m not a psychic, nor am I claiming that these events are guaranteed to happen. These are my personal predictions, derived from analysing planetary cycles and transits from the past and present. Keep an open mind as you read, and remember, an astrologer can only provide possibilities, not certainties.
Picking up from where we left off in part 1, 2025 is a call to action, driven by Mars-ruled energy. As I mentioned earlier, with all of the outer planets changing signs and the inner planets retrograding, this year is primed for endings and new beginnings. As much as I’ve tried to predict potential events and themes, the energy of 2025 carries an air of unpredictability—expect the unexpected.
Yes, that can look like an increase in divorces and break-ups (particularly celebrity figures & Hollywood couples), distancing from past connections to discover your true soul tribe and community, or leaving behind conventional career paths to pursue your creative calling. Whatever the situation, 2025 is going to push us into new chapters and beginnings—but only if we are courageous enough to close the doors to the past. There’s no reward without sacrifice!
Here’s the other part in all of this: as of the morning of 12th January, we’ve collectively moved through another nodal axis shift. You may have heard of the North Node and South Node in astrology. The North Node represents the direction our soul wants to grow in this lifetime, while the South Node symbolises where we’ve come from in past lives and the skills or experiences we bring into this one. Together, they form what we call the Lunar Nodes—two points in the sky where the Moon's orbit crosses the ecliptic. The Nodes are highly karmic and spiritual, bringing destined changes into our lives. They propel us toward the lessons of the North Node sign while challenging us to confront and release the themes of the South Node sign. The Nodes always work in opposing signs (hence the term axis), and this time, the North Node has shifted into Pisces, with the South Node now in Virgo.
The last time the nodes were on this axis was from 2015 to 2017, though the signs were reversed, with the North Node in Virgo. Nevertheless, looking back to that time may offer insights into recurring themes—now you’ll be more experienced in navigating them. For an even deeper perspective, the last time the nodes were in the same position as today, (Pisces North Node and Virgo South Node), was from 23rd June 2006 to 18th December 2007. The Nodes won’t change signs again until 2026.
If you’re new here, you may want to revisit my popular eclipse series from when we began the Pisces/Virgo eclipses. These articles explore the deeper themes these signs bring. In a nutshell, the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo calls us to surrender in order to heal. It’s time to release (South Node) the need for control (Virgo) and instead trust the Universe’s guidance (Pisces). Pisces is about faith—believing in the unseen and the intangible. 2025 will challenge you to reassess your life and where you stand—a life review of sorts (Virgo). It will challenge you to question whether you’re truly living the life you desire. Are you happy with your job? With where you live? With the people in your life? Expect to confront some deep existential questions (Pisces) and make necessary adjustments or reorganise (Virgo) these areas to align more closely with your authentic self. On a collective level, we’re likely to see a surge in mass resignations within the corporate world as people move away from traditional 9-to-5 structures and towards their personal dreams and goals. I predict more individuals will follow their innate talents and gifts, starting their own businesses rather than expending their energy in service of someone else’s vision.
This all sounds really dreamy I know, but that’s Pisces energy for you. On the other hand however, the shadow side of Pisces can manifest as addictions, mental health struggles, anxiety, escapism, avoidance, or depression. It’s essential to stay grounded during this period—don’t let your head drift too far into the clouds, or you risk losing your sense of self or purpose. Establish tools or rituals to help you stay centred and balanced.
Now, let’s explore the major transits of each month this year. I’ll focus on the big ones—the energy shifters. If you’re subscribed, rest assured I’ll dive deeper into other transits as they arise throughout the year.
Jan - Mars is still retrograde. Sun conjunct Pluto (21 Jan).
Feb - Mars goes direct (24 Feb).
Mar - Venus goes retrograde in Aries (2 March). Lunar eclipse in Virgo (14 March). Mercury retrograde begins (15 March). Final eclipse in Aries (29 March). Neptune moves into Aries (30 March).
Apr - Mars moves into Leo and finally leaves Cancer. Venus goes direct after it’s retrograde (13 April). Mars squares Pluto (27 April).
May - Saturn moves into Aries (24 May). Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries.
Jun - Jupiter moves into Cancer (9 June).
Jul - Uranus moves into Gemini (7 July). Mercury retrograde (18 July).
Aug - Mars moves into Libra (6 Aug). Mars opposes Saturn (8 Aug). Mars opposes Neptune (9 Aug).

Oct - Neptune moves back into Pisces (22 Oct).
Nov - Uranus moves back into Taurus (7 Nov). Mercury retrograde (9 Nov).
Dec - Mars squares Saturn (8 Dec). Mars squares Neptune (14 Dec).
There’s a lot to unpack here! Let’s start with the outer planet transits, as these will have the most profound and long-term impact, both personally and collectively. I’ll cover the inner planets in separate articles to give them the focus they deserve:
Jupiter in Cancer -
This is an exciting transit! Jupiter thrives in Cancer—it’s what we call ‘exalted’, meaning it performs exceptionally well in this sign. Jupiter is a ‘benefic’ planet, symbolising abundance, growth, and optimism. Cancer, ruled by the Moon, is associated with the home, body, security, emotions, nourishment, and community. Together, this pairing can amplify themes of emotional well-being, family matters, and creating a sense of safety and belonging. The last time Jupiter was in Cancer was from the summer of 2013 to the summer of 2014, so you can look back at this time period to see what themes may arise. I’ll dive deeper into what to expect as we approach this time.
Pluto in Aquarius -
I’ve written extensively about Pluto in Aquarius over the past few months, and it’s a transit I’ve been eagerly anticipating for quite some time. If you’re interested, I’ve dedicated an entire article to this topic. However, for the purposes of this discussion, let me summarise some key points.
Firstly, whether we like it or not, A.I. and robotics will continue to become a normalised and daily part of our lives and routines. I recently visited Korea and observed first-hand how normalised robots are in restaurants and shops—so much so that they almost go unnoticed. This trend is likely to expand globally as Pluto continues its journey through Aquarius. A.I. development will undoubtedly accelerate, and I’m curious to see where this takes us over the next 15 years—Meta has already introduced its A.I. Instagram profiles, which I personally hate, but this is just the beginning…I’m still holding out hope that Pluto in Aquarius brings free wi-fi for the masses.
Speaking of social media, we’re already seeing big shifts right at the beginning of this transit—notably, the TikTok ban in the US—and they appear to be exploring a new platform to move their followers to, called Lemon8. Whether it takes off remains to be seen—we’ve witnessed the rise and fall of so many platforms over the years (does anyone still use BeReal?). However, with the Aquarian energy of 2025, I do believe a new social platform will be created or suddenly be discovered, and I think we are all consciously (or unconsciously) waiting with bated breath for it. There’s already buzz around apps like Neptune (lol) and RedNote.
Another theme I’ve discussed extensively is the transformation of fame and the death of the traditional ‘celebrity’ as we know it. Aquarius, the sign Pluto is currently transiting, opposes Leo—the sign associated with fame, the limelight, and traditional notions of authority. Pluto’s opposition to Leo signifies a shift in how we perceive power and influence. It’s no longer about placing faith in individuals with a ‘higher power’; instead, the energy is moving towards empowering the collective. The age of the traditional celebrity may well be over, replaced by a new era of shared influence.
Uranus in Gemini -
Uranus operates on an 84-year cycle, spending approximately seven years in each zodiac sign. This means we’ll be dealing with this energy until 2033. Do you want the good news or the bad news first? Let’s start with the bad (but I’ll try to keep it optimistic).
When we look back at past cycles, Uranus in Gemini has coincided with some of the most significant and prolific wars, such as World War II and the Civil War. While this may sound ominous, here’s where I’m trying to be optimistic: as Aquarius is ruled by Uranus, and Uranus will be moving to the sign of Gemini, ruled by Mercury, this energy might manifest as ‘tech wars’ or ‘social media wars’ rather than physical war. However, given the recent violence and global tensions we’ve been experiencing, especially within Gaza, it’s difficult to rule out the potential for further unrest. On my Instagram, I’ve already warned that America may not be the most secure/stable place to be in 2025. This is due to America experiencing it’s Uranus return, which signals a period of unpredictable and active change.
Now for the good news. Being Mercury ruled, Uranus in Gemini will unlock new ways of communicating and traveling, completely revolutionising these areas. With Pluto in Aquarius—Aquarius is innovation/crazy genius energy—we may witness the development of new languages, particularly within technology—think new coding languages designed to keep pace with advancements in A.I. I think it’s possible that we could find ways to communicate with different lifeforms and species.
We will also see major advancements in transport—I think we could finally see the birth of flying cars! Whether through entirely new transportation inventions or transformative improvements to existing systems, Uranus in Gemini promises an exciting era of ingenuity and progress.
Neptune in Aries -
Neptune will remain in Aries until 2039, so get comfortable! Neptune brings idealistic, dreamy, and often hazy energy. Its influence leans more towards intuition than logic, which can be challenging at times. Neptune embodies Pisces energy, so whilst it can be very creative and imaginative, it can also mean boundaries become difficult to uphold, discernment is more difficult, leading to deceptive situations or people. During this transit, there’s a risk of idealising others or placing people on pedestals they don’t deserve.
Neptune’s inherent ‘cloudiness’ could lead to a significant increase in the spread of misinformation. I’m concerned with this especially in the context of social media and online platforms—think about how difficult it’s already becoming to know what’s ‘real’ with the rise of A.I—that’s Neptune. If you’ve been following the news, Mark Zuckerberg has already announced plans to remove fact-checking from Meta platforms and leave this responsibility in the hands of the community. This could exacerbate the spread of false narratives, and we may witness a rise in false gurus, con artists, and deceptive leaders. Please don’t believe everything you read or see online and if there was ever a time to practice discernment, this would be it.
Speaking of Zuckerberg, he recently commented on how companies need to embrace more ‘masculine energy’ **sigh**. Be aware of a potential trend under this transit—things becoming more masculine focused, masculine led—an increase in Mars energy: dominance, aggression, and the ‘divide and conquer’ mentality. Unfortunately, this energy aligns with the possibility of heightened global conflict or even war, as I mentioned earlier.
Neptune in Aries is likely to inspire a surge in competitive spirit and innovation. There will also be a growing focus on spirituality, with many individuals taking charge of their own healing journeys. This energy, combined with the North Node in Pisces, could lead people to question what our human experience means in society today, including the role of traditional medicine and distrust of big pharma—alternative, holistic approaches to health and wellness are likely to gain momentum. However, the increased spiritual focus isn’t without its pitfalls. There’s potential for the rise of cults, unqualified or misguided spiritual ‘leaders’, and religious wars/conflict. Expect big spiritual awakenings for the collective.
Saturn in Aries -
Saturn transitions into Aries in May and will remain there until 2028. Saturn hates being in Aries. Saturn represents grandfather/father energy—an authority known for it’s wisdom and experience. Saturn is the disciplinary, the patient teacher that rewards hard work and perseverance. Aries energy, ruled by Mars, is the opposite: impulsive, impatient, and eager to jump headfirst into action without fully considering the consequences or risks. You can see how these energies are at odds with each other! With Saturn in Aries, there’s a strong karmic element, so be conscious of your actions before jumping into something—Saturn will get you into trouble! Be mindful when dealing with authority figures, issues could arise as Aries naturally resists external control and prefers to march to the beat of its own drum.
That said, Saturn in Aries isn’t without its advantages, it can bring incredible power, but as the infamous saying goes, ‘with great power comes great responsibility’. If approached wisely, this transit provides an excellent opportunity to refine your talents and master your craft, but Saturn only rewards those willing to put in the effort.
People with Saturn in Aries in their birth chart are often known to be the first to start something new, create new trends, or reinvent existing concepts with their own personal touch. They’re known for their dedication and mastery. For example, Zendaya and MrBeast, both have Saturn in Aries, and Zendaya is always topping the best-dressed on any carpet with unique style. MrBeast has taken YouTube success to another level. I’m keen to see what both of their Saturn return brings.
2025 in Summary -
2025 will be a year for the history books. With the monumental shifts taking place, it will undoubtedly be a milestone year marked by profound change. There are new cycles beginning that will carry significant karmic impact for years to come, reshaping our personal lives and society as a whole—in the same way 2020 changed everything. In 2020, we had outer planets, Saturn & Pluto meeting in the sky (a ‘conjunction’), as well as Jupiter and Saturn conjunct, leading to the Covid pandemic. In 2025, we have another outer planet conjunction—Saturn and Neptune in May. While this doesn’t signal ‘Covid part two’, it will absolutely change societal structures and usher in an entirely new era.
With Aries energy so dominant this year, take extra care regarding head-related health. Aries rules the head, and with some of these transits, it would be wise to get any health issues checked—don’t ignore ongoing headaches or migraines!
Aries, as the first sign of the zodiac, carries the energy of birth and fresh beginnings. This year offers immense potential for transformation and growth. Changecan be uncomfortable, but if you can lean into it, the rewards will undoubtedly follow. 2025 will leave a legacy that lasts for generations. This is not the time to cling to the past or remain stuck in outdated situations, be open and flexible to the shifting energies this year. By the end of it, your life will look significantly different—you will be different.
The narratives that begin in 2025 will continue to evolve throughout 2026, so pay close attention to what comes up for you this year—I highly recommend journaling your experience. Use the Martian energy of change to transform your life for the better, because the opportunity is most definitely being offered to you.
