A Magical New Moon for Manifesting

The Cancer New Moon brings forth a new chapter. How will you create a stronger foundation for yourself?

Well Solstice definitely brought with it the rapid change of direction.

Before I get into the Cancer New Moon (it’s a good one)—I just want to note that what’s happening in the US and ME are a result of these bigger planets changing signs. I’ve spoken about Pluto in Aquarius, Saturn in Aries, Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries, since the end of last year. I’m going to link all of the articles that are worth re-reading again at the bottom of this article so you can look back and see the insights I’ve been sharing to prepare you for what’s now taking place.

In a nutshell though, here’s some snippets from previous articles:

The Aquarian era calls for communities to band together, particularly in response to archaic systems, government, racism, and basically anything that isn’t unjust or oppressive for the ‘people’. — 20th December 2024. (Article link).

The last point I’ll make on the US/ME, is that this weekend could bring violent news or a shocking announcement since we have the Mercury/Pluto square building and it will peak on Sunday 29th June. Mercury = communication, flight, travel and Pluto = death, violence, transformation, power. In our personal lives, this transit could manifest as an explosive argument with someone, being in a tense power dynamic, uncovering a secret, getting to the bottom of something or having productive, transformative conversations. Whatever it is, there’s going to be some depth to it, this won’t be surface-level conversations, this is deep-rooted.

Also, the first week of July is going to be very unpredictable and chaotic, so if you’re in the US, stay safe, particularly around Independence day!

So as we head into July, the next big transit for 2025, is bringing major change and unpredictability in yet another area of our lives.

New Moon in Cancer: Wednesday 25th June at 11:32AM (BST)

I can’t emphasise enough how special this new moon is. I’m looking forward to manifesting!

A new moon brings with it a new cycle, a new opportunity to create and build.

A new moon occurs when the moon meets the sun in the sky, creating a blank canvas for us to set intentions for that cycle. With this happening in the sign of Cancer, expect themes around home and family, belonging, roots, identity, mother/maternal figure to be highlighted during this time.

There’s two reasons why I love this new moon:

In astrology the Moon is ruled by Cancer. So this New Moon will be extra powerful because the Moon is at home here and is better equipped to do its job. So we’re really going to feel that nurturing, intuitive energy this week.
The best part: Jupiter is also in the sign of Cancer at the moment, and will be present with the New Moon. Jupiter is exalted in this sign, so you’ll receive a boost of abundance in the area that Cancer rules in your chart. This is going to emphasise the Cancerian themes of security (whether physical, financial, mental), family, and safety. Where do you need to rebuild a stronger foundation for yourself as we move further into the second half of 2025?

Since Cancer rules the home and our inner world, I’d encourage you to do a deep cleanse of your living space. Clean and tidy your home to allow for better energy flow. Get rid of anything that you no longer need, this is a great time to donate old clothes. Don’t leave dirty laundry lying around on the day of the New Moon!

If you’ve been trying to find a way to improve your familial relationships, this is the perfect moon to tap into. Cancer is also related to our emotions, so use this energy for emotional healing with others and/or yourself.
